Sooke: A Western Getaway

Sooke is considered to be the westernmost community in the Great Victoria Area. It's located about 45 minutes to an hour away from the downtown core of Victoria, and located conveniently in between the two is Langford, one of the most popular centres for shopping in the area. Technically, Sooke stretches all the way from the outskirts of Metchosin all the way to Port Renfrew on the western side of Vancouver Island's south; so if you're looking to get sort of out of town or way out of town, Sooke can provide.
